I needed an instant relief of pain in my lower back, and was impressed by Laurie’s knowledge, doing an assessment of my body to find out which was the best approach for me not just to relieve the pain in that moment but also to insure that I had the tools to make improvements at home. I left the session with greater awareness of my body and habits and with the needed pain relief.

I look forward to working again with Laurie to develop greater awareness and improve healthy lasting habits and to being stronger and healthier.

You’re a magician! Been thinking about what you’ve said and trying to keep semi switch on through the day. My lower back pain is almost entirely gone. Still getting some nerve pain down my leg and a little stiff but making improvements for the first time!

I recently had a session at Prehab Lab, and what immediately stood out was Laurie’s passion for helping people. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Laurie’s expertise and professionalism were clear from the start.

Personally, I’ve been dealing with pain and limited movement from an old ankle injury that has flared up again, but Laurie quickly evaluated my range of motion and got to work. His multi-faceted approach combined deep tissue massage, breath exercises, and variety of other modalities. By the end of our first session, my pain had decreased substantially, my flexibility had noticeably improved, and he provided a personalized plan of takeaways.

I highly recommend Laurie at Prehab Lab if you need help with pain or movement. You'll be glad you did it!

I have never experienced a massage like the one I had with Laurie. I felt confident and super safe in his hands, and I released tension in ways I never thought possible.
Honestly, I can’t recommend it enough. It was the best massage I have ever had, truly therapeutic and incredibly effective.

I visited Laurie whilst on a retreat at the Shanti Space in Lisbon. I’d expected to have a standard Sports Massage to address ongoing knee pain, which I’d visited several therapists regarding prior to this visit.

I had previously been given varying information as to the source of the “injury”….. all of which was pretty much confounded by Laurie’s more thorough understanding of what was really occurring. As he put it “the knee is the victim but the villain is elsewhere”.

Within one session he uncovered the source of the pain. He worked that area (and it was rather excruciating) but since that time the knee pain is gone. The cracking, the aching and sleepless nights gone with it. Not saying he worked a miracle but it was something close to!
